About Us
International Intercultural Consulting Firm (IIC FIRM) is a Houston, Texas based M/WBE certified cultural consulting firm focused on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) learning programs. We are on a mission to bring people together to support each other and engage and connect respectfully across cultural, ideological, social and identity differences. We use allyship as a strategic method to build inclusivity and equity skill learning programs that spark meaningful , sustained DEI action within the workplace.
Dr. Behzadi is a board-certified anesthesiologist and published intercultural writer. In 2008, she became inspired to pursue avenues for cultural understanding/unity and allyship after she was racially discriminated against in her medical training and experienced the power of allyship-advocacy from an unlikely source. Her experience inspired her to pursue ways to connect and engage across our vast differences and operationalize the concept of equity allyship. She successfully ran an intercultural consulting business for 6 years before starting IIC FIRM.
